As the famous American designer Cynthia Rowley quotes-If you love
your workspace, you’ll love your work a little more.Designing a
workspace can be an easier task when keeping a work ambience at
focus. But when it comes to creating a space that helps you grow your
creativity and enhance your connectivity to the work,it becomes a task
too challenging.
While designing this space, the central idea that we focused upon was to
create an environment both peaceful and nurturing at the same time.
The space has been segmented into two functional cabins,a staff sitting
space,a storage space, pantry and a waiting area. The cabins have been
designed keeping in mind their connectivity as well working
segregation.A pantry has been placed between the cabins that act as a
buffer for both the areas.
As we enter the office area, the choco colored sofas welcome the arriving
clients to provide a soothing environment.Just as we enter the working
area,a steel partition acts as a transition which signifies the free flowing
vibes. This acts as an entrance to the commercial yet warm segment.
The working space for the office staff has been created keeping in mind
their functional enhancement. The wooden hanging sculpture continues
the dynamic free-flow ambience by acting as a mark of creativity. The
resting buddha in the space adds to the peaceful vibes. The wooden
cabinet adds functional creativity to the working space. Wooden
counters and wall surface holds the created aura which are further
marked by the wooden handles on the gates.
The Master cabin is designed to look spacious within the space
provided. The main desk is designed with soft curves & wooden ribs at the front and a tile paneled back. The upper stone-furnished surface adds
elegance to the office.Window blinds serve their purpose of being a
luminary channel. The hanging pendant lamp adds elegance and beauty
to the cabin.
A glass window channel for communication has been designed between
the master cabin and the other one.
The secondary cabin is externally created with vertically flowing
wooden designs carved around a lateral glass entrance.Cabinets have
been added for functional purposes but with a beautified texture. The
space has been used efficiently.
